VoxFeed is a marketplace that connects brands with influencers to let them collaborate in social media campaigns. Data analytics at VoxFeed is the responsibility of CTO Manuel de la Torre, who also leads the company's product team.

Before Stitch "it was really difficult to get reports from MongoDB," de la Torre recalls, "and even worse when we had to mix in data from PostgreSQL as well." He felt that the solution would be to extract the data and load it into a data warehouse for reporting – but how?

"We looked at AWS Glue, but it didn't support MongoDB," de la Torre says. "We reviewed other options, but they were expensive and difficult to integrate. When we found Stitch, we liked it because it had a decent pricing model and it's super easy to use. It took me less than an hour to take our data in MongoDB and PostgreSQL and send it to a single warehouse in PostgreSQL. In fact it probably took me more time to create the data warehouse than to set everything up in Stitch."

Everything worked just as de la Torre had hoped – and a call with Stitch's Support team helped him reduce costs during the first load of data.

Since then VoxFeed has been able to save a ton of time. "We went from spending hours writing scripts to analyze our data in Mongo and crossing results with data in Postgres to just minutes creating a simple SQL query in the data warehouse and having all of our data ready to use."
