Nicholas Kellett is an enterprise of one: Founder and CEO of Ontario-based Deploy Software Solutions and the only member of its data team. His business performs enterprise consulting, data and application architecture and implementation, and project management on behalf of ISVs, professional services firms, and businesses.

Enterprise consulting is complicated, and when you're a sole practitioner, time is of the essence. Kellett recalls a recent situation where "I needed to design and build a proof of concept for a complex data warehouse schema to drive a large number of client reports, with some complex and changing business rules, and six disparate data sources. Stitch let me create schemas in Amazon Aurora, synchronize them with test data in Amazon Redshift, and script the client report queries. The ability to do that was a huge time-saver. I made numerous changes to the schema during my weekly review meetings with the client. Over the course of a few months, I was able to finalize the POC schema with confidence it would work for production use."

Along the way, Kellett says he ran into one problem when a sync stopped happening and he had to contact Stitch's Support team. "There was good communication and fast turnaround to get the sync working again," he says.

Kellett estimates he saved 160 hours by using Stitch in the process of implementing and modifying the POC database.
