Stitch releases HubSpot support

HubSpot is a leading inbound sales and marketing platform, generating over $55 million in annual revenue from more than 8,000 customers. With the new release of our HubSpot integration, Stitch customers can take full ownership of the raw marketing data that lives in the HubSpot platform.

Going beyond Hubspot Analytics

HubSpot’s analytics functionality, HubSpot Analytics, provides businesses with the basic metrics every business needs: leads, conversions, sales performance, and engagement. HubSpot customers have access to:

  • Prebuilt reports

  • 8 customizable chart types

  • Data summary email sends

HubSpot Analytics

HubSpot also offers a featured called Connect, a suite of integrations you can set up using a Wizard. However, these integrations are largely used for internal operationalizing based on additional data sources, not for the analytics use case.

HubSpot’s tools give small businesses insights into their marketing initiatives, but as a company grows, so too does its appetite for data. When using almost any SaaS tool, companies run into two data problems:

  1. Built-in analytics limits flexibility: HubSpot’s standard reports are great for non-technical teams, but analysts and data scientists will want to use more robust tools that allow for more complex analysis.

  2. Inability to join data sources from other business departments: While traditional analysis within HubSpot Analytics is limited to the HubSpot database properties, it does offer some basic data integrations for some CRM, webinar, and support apps. Having your transactional, product, and accounting data siloed off limits your reporting depth and sophistication.

Both of these problems can be solved by accessing the raw data living inside HubSpot and loading it into a columnar database. You can build out this process yourself by writing to the HubSpot API, but you’ll need to maintain that API integration, and respond when an integration inevitably breaks. With Stitch, you can push your HubSpot data to Amazon Redshift in minutes.

Benefits of the Stitch HubSpot integration

Stitch's HubSpot integration gives you access to powerful features:

  • Historical data is synced

  • Data is audited at every stage of the pipeline

  • Data types and structures are automatically detected

  • If, for any reason, the connection gets interrupted, you’ll receive proactive error alerts

Cumulative Leads By Interaction Type

Additionally, Stitch brings in custom contact properties, allowing you to filter contacts based on properties outside of HubSpot’s system. The integration includes the following tables.

  • hubspot_contacts

  • hubspot_contacts_lists

  • hubspot_companies

  • hubspot_deals

  • hubspot_subscriptions

  • hubspot_campaigns

  • hubspot_email_events

  • hubspot_forms

  • hubspot_keywords

  • hubspot_owners

  • hubspot_workflows

By bringing your HubSpot data into an analytical warehouse, you can begin answering the questions that provide critical insight into the health of your business:

  1. What campaigns are my best leads coming from?

  2. What content types predict lead quality?

  3. What is the ROI of my webinar program?

  4. How many touchpoints does it take for leads to convert into sales opportunities?
