Over the last several months, we've added dozens of customer stories to our Customers page. We've been thrilled to hear so many stories about how Stitch has saved companies time and money. Here's a summary of a few especially interesting stories, with links to the full writeups on each.
- OrderMyGear stored critical account and contact information in Salesforce and Zendesk. "We needed to combine that information with the data from our application so that we could better understand the performance of specific segments of our customer base," says Daniel Hodges. The solution involved Stitch for ETL, a Google BigQuery data warehouse, and Looker for BI.
- Growth Street needed a tool that could efficiently and cost-effectively combine all of its data from Salesforce, HubSpot, Intercom, Google AdWords, and other third-party sources with an Amazon Redshift data warehouse. "Stitch proved to be really cost-effective for us, and Singer was also a big plus," says Dylan Baker. (Stitch integrations are powered by Singer, an open source standard the company developed for writing scripts that move data. Singer integrations are free for anyone to use, regardless of whether they're a Stitch customer, and Singer's extensibility allows Stitch to connect to any data source.)
- Brazilian food tech startup Liv Up runs production databases in MongoDB. It was a challenge to integrate MongoDB's NoSQL structure into their PostgreSQL data warehouse, which also contained data from Zendesk and Google Analytics. Luiz Arakaki says, "By using Stitch we save at least eight hours a week in our ETL process, and Stitch is 50 to 80% cheaper than the other tools we considered."
- Online fashion retailer AMARO evaluated traditional ETL tools like Pentaho and Talend plus seven cloud ETL platforms, and considered writing its own data pipelines using programming languages. "Our need was straightforward: to integrate a list of data sources to our data warehouse," says Murilo Nigris. "Stitch had the connectors we needed already available at a fair price. It was easy to use and needed no maintenance."
